שיתוף פעולה של עמותת נגישות ישראל עם עמותת Accessibility Accelerator  בארה"ב ,שבמסגרתה שמחנו לארח את Chapel Haven המגיעים היישר מניו הייבן, קונטיקט בארה"ב לטיול בארץ.
צ'אפל הייבן מהווה מקום למגורים עצמאיים לבוגרים עם מוגבלויות קוגניטיביות ותקשורתיות.
במסגרת הטיול , חוו חברי הקבוצה חוויה מיוחדת של רכיבה משותפת בהדרכת קבוצת הרכיבה "עיניים לשניים" של המרחב לחיים עצמאיים בגליל – בניהולה של עמותת נגישות ישראל .
הרכיבה הייתה על אופני תלת אופן וכן על אופני טנדם, המיועדים לשני רוכבים ומשמשים בין השאר לשילוב של אנשים עם מוגבלות בספורט הרכיבה.

In collaboration with the Accessibility Accelerator association in the USA, we are pleased to host Chapel Haven, who come straight from New Haven, Connecticut in the USA, for a trip to Israel. Chapel Haven is a place for independent living for adults with cognitive and communication disabilities. As part of the trip, the group members experienced a unique shared riding experience under the guidance of the "Eyes for Two"- riding group, from the "Spac for Independent Living" in the Galilee, managed by Access Israel organization. The ride was on tricycles and on tandem bicycles, which are intended for two riders and are used, among other .things, to integrate people with disabilities into the sport of cycling.
