The founder of Access Israel, Yuval Wagner, was selected as one of the 50 social heroes for the year of 2018 by the newspaper “Yediot Ahronot”
This is the third consecutive year that the newspaper “Yediot Ahronot” decided to rank something a little different than usual.
Not the most famous celebrities, the parades, events or movies. Not even the “People of the Year” in the traditional sense.
They decided to rank the people that took their and our destiny into their own hands and did something to change the reality for the better, even if just for a little bit.
Each one of the 50 people that were selected to the list, led a struggle to change Israel to become a more equal and just state.
The reason why Yuval Wagner, founder of Access Israel was selected for this list is due to his success, to raise significant awareness for accessibility and inclusion for people with disabilities in businesses and in the public sector.
