This is the eighth year that ‘Midot’ organization has awarded the seal, which is given to non-profit organizations and projects in Israel whose activities influence and bring about significant change in society
Excerpt from the selection committee’s comments:
The public committee entrusted with selecting the winners was deeply impressed by Access Israel’s activities for the inclusion of disabled and elderly people into society. Since its establishment (20 years ago), the organization has created a deep change in the public consciousness, in legislation, and in the quality of life of approximately one and a half million disables and elderly people in the Israeli society. The organization acts on an ongoing basis to measure its influence, to implement lessons, and to adapt its objectives and modes of operation to the changing reality.
We thank Midot organization for choosing to give us the Seal of Effectiveness for 2019!
We thank the entire Access Israel staff for their work throughout the entire year to improve the quality of life of one and a half million people with disabilities living in Israel.
