Access Israel’s 14th webinar on Accessible Preparedness For Emergencies For People With Disabilities

We are happy to share our experience from Access Israel’s 14th webinar held yesterday ( March 6th ) on Accessible Preparedness For Emergencies For People With Disabilities.

Hundres of attendees from all over the globe registered, to learn about new practices, innovative technologies, and revolutionary approaches with respect to emergency times, aiming to turn our society to a more inclusive and accessible one.

Experts from all over the world provided insights on inclusive emergency design, adjusting accessible measures to emergency situations, development of technologies with a purpose to make it easier on people with disabilities during emergency times, preplanned evacuation plans and so on.

Michal Rimon, Access Israel’s CEO, who led the event, presented Access Israel’s Purple Vest Mission for promoting accessibility and assistance for people with disabilities in emergency time. Michal emphasized the power of civil society in creating emergency preparedness.

The event was beneficial from a professional stand point, as well as emotional and inspiring, and has strengthened our commitment towards building a safer and more accessible future for everyone.
