On August 8, 2024, the General Assembly of Access Israel convened via Zoom to approve the financial and verbal reports for the association for the year 2023. This year has been especially challenging since October 7 and the start of the Israel-Hamas war.
In response to the difficult events, in addition to continuing its regular activities, the association began leading the field of emergency assistance and preparedness for people with disabilities and the elderly, through the association’s initiative, the “Purple Vest” – accessible assistance and evacuation for people with disabilities and the elderly in war.
We wish to thank the committee’s and General Assembly’s members, Michal Rimon – the association’s CEO, all the association’s staff who work hard to make accessibility happen, all our partners who support us, donors, guides and volunteers, authorities, and businesses.
The association is committed to keep working hard to promote accessibility and improve the life quality of people with disabilities and the elderly.
