Access Israel’s team works around the clock in Latvia.
So what did we do on our first day in Lativa?
We met with the Latvian Minister of Welfare, Mr. Janis Reirs.
We participated and learned about accessibility in the meeting with the chairman of the welfare department of the Riga municipality and the director of the welfare department.
We had enriching and inspiring meetings with representatives of leading non-profit organizations dealing with people with disabilities in Riga.
We ended the day with an accessibility training and an experiential meal called “Feast of the Senses”, in which the Welfare Minister of Latvia, the former Prime Minister of Latvia and many other interesting people participated.
