Andy Lassner, Executive Producer of the Ellen DeGeneres show shares how helping others is the best way to overcome this crisis
FAISR (Friends of Access Israel) interviews Andy Lassner, the executive producer of the Ellen Degeneres show on his experience of COVID-19.
Andy shares how he overcame difficult times in his life and how taking it “one day at a time” helped him and suggests this approach during the COVID-19 crisis. Andy says that it helped him to help others and remind yourself that there are other people in the world who have it worst and always “look for opportunities to help others”.
Further, Andy talks about how this crisis shows who really the essential people are, such as nurses, police officers, the people who work in the supermarkets etc. and how important it is to take care of them.
As a society, Andy says, “we are only as good as our weakest links”, those of us who can help others have an obligation to help and take care of each other.
